The SFMT is looking for a Scenic Designer to design and paint the set! OR we are looking for a Scenic Designer to team up with their favorite Scenic Artist, and therefore, split the design fee. We are looking for flexible designers who are familiar with working on original new plays.
Employment is roughly from: May - July 4th
Fee for Scenic Designer alone is: $1350
Fee for Scenic Artist alone is: $900
Fee for Scenic Designer who also acts as Scenic Artist is: $2250
It will be the Scenic Designer's responsibility to find and hire the Scenic Artist if they themselves do not wish to paint the set.
Building and painting material budget total: $2250
Must be available for:
Production Meetings: Dates TBD
At least two dress rehearsals: Dates TBD
All Previews: Dates TBD
Opening Weekend: July 2nd, 3rd and 4th

The Mime Troupe accepts video auditions from performers who are out of town during our regularly schedule audition dates. Submissions may be made year round and will go directly into our database for future viewing during audition dates.
Please upload your audition onto YouTube or Vimeo with NO EDITS.
Video requirements: 1 physical/comic piece (classical or contemporary) no longer than 2 mins and sing 32 bars of song to music. Choose material that also shows off your physical skills.

It's Tax time April 10 and Dec 10. SFMT is a grateful grantee of the Voluntary Arts Contribution Fund. We ask all SF PROPERTY OWNERS to regularly check the VACF box on their tax bills and give a donation to help their local San Francisco Arts organizations maintain a home in this increasingly expensive city.
