  • As of 2018, 3 million California residents were uninsured. In 2017, 55,000 people were uninsured in the SF and San Mateo county region. (California Health Care Foundation)

  • In 2019, a federal study of facial recognition technology revealed that recognition “algorithms falsely identified African-American and Asian faces 10 to 100 times more than Caucasian faces.” (New York Times)
